Step 1: Scheduling

  1. Create an assignment.
  2. Select the language, the classroom,and module sequence.
  3. Select language ,classroom and module/sequence.
  4. Once the "module" has been selected from the drop-down,click on"Select" to assign the module(s).

 

 

Step 2: Assessment Settings
  1. Click on the "Start Time",and type in the date and the time, and click submit.
  2. Click in the "Time Limit" box, and trype the time limit,and click submit.
  3. Click on the box"Auto Submit on Completeion"if required.
  4. Select the grading cale, and click submit.
  5. Click the box for "Allow Student Notes."

 

 

Step 3:Assigning the test
  1. You can use the "Assign All".
  2. You can also assign the test to an individual by checking the box next to the specific student's name.
  3. Start the test by clicking on the green play button.A red warning sign will pop-up.Read the warning, then click "yes" to begin the test.

 

 

Step 4:Administarion-Monitor the Test in Progress
  1. In image 1, students have not ackowldged the disclaimer.
  2. In image 2, you can see students have accepted the disclaimer and begun the test, their progress is displayed, and you can monitor it here.
  3. After all the students have completed and submitted their tests, the test will appear as "Hidden" to the proctor. On the proctor's side, the stauts screen will three grey dots.

 

 

Step 5:Completeing the test
  1. Click on the red button to "Set to complete".
  2. Read the "Warning!" and then accept or deny. (See image 1) .
  3. Once you accept and click on "Yes", the green "In progress" button will change to"Complete"(See imge2).

 

 

Step 6:Grading
  1. Open studet(s) folder to grade the test by clicking the file icon under "View".The student's test will appear to the grader.
  2. Once the test is graded, click on "Confirm Review", which appears on the last page of the test.
  3. You can make the test visible to student(s)for student review by clicking on the "Hidden" button to make the test visible.
  4. Once the student has reviewed the test and "Confirmed" the review on the last page of their test, the second dot on the grader's side will turn green indicating that the student's review is complete. The status will now show "Hidden" on the grader's side.

 

 

Step 7:Finalizing grades
  1. For each student's test submission, click on the far right gear button. Once you click on this button you will see "Submit Grade".
  2. Read the "Warning" before submitting the grade, and click "Yes" to submit the final grading for each student.
  3. Now final grades are visible under "Status", according to the grading scale selected while scheduling the test.

 

Step 8:Archiving
  1. Click on the the red icon shown in box to set the test to archive the test. This action will make the test visible onnly to the Project/Manager.
  2. Once the exame has closed. You will see the image below, which indicates that the test has been "Archived". Additional information can be found here such as the test "Title" and the test "ID Number".
